Yugenn Designs is a black owned business ran by 24 year old creative artist, model, dancer, and designer Bria Reed. The idea of Yugenn Designs is based off Bria's drive and passion for imagination, creativity, and originality. 

 Bria has always had a passion for creativity and a broad imagination. She got a passion for art at a very early age and eventually realized an even more in depth passion for fashion & design. She began using art as an outlet to express emotions that can't easily be said aloud. Eventually, she began to find and understand herself. Self love is an important aspect to have in one's life and she feels everyone should be able to find that within themselves. Everyone should be able to embrace who they truly are and be able to stand proud!

If you were wondering where we got our name.....

The word Yugen is from Japanese origins. This word can be translated in an abundance of ways but its exact translation, as the profound, mysterious sense of the beauty of the universe...and the sad beauty of human suffering. In Bria's eyes this is an exact representation of life itself and the poetry of it. Poetry has always been another outlet for Bria to be able to express emotions and views that she was never really able to plainly explain to others. The word Yugen holds a special place in our founder's heart since its something that's meaning has been there along Bria's journey and has given inspiration in many of ways. 

She hopes to use this brand as something to empower women and all others to reflect and embrace their true selves. Thank you for being here and supporting the beginning of such a big milestone. Our only option is to continue to keep growing from here!
